Summer Choir workshop

Summer choral workshop is a singing workshop  focused mainly on choral signing. It is traditionally held in  Lomnice (40 km from Brno).  The workshop lasts  4 days in different classes  and is ended by the final concert which  takes place in the synagogue in Lomnice. The classes are led by experienced and eminent teachers from the Czech Republic and from abroad.  The part of LSD is also the interpretative seminar of solo singing run by  well-known singers and lecturers of singing . Except the classes, LSD provides various range of activities such as evening concerts of lecturers or other guests or concerts of choirs being present at the workshop.

The classes  take place in the premises of the local castle. Accommodation is provided in different places of the town.

Music festival

The Festival of bands from the countries of the Visegrad four will take place just at  the end of the Summer choir workshop on Saturday, July 14th 2012 in the courtyard of the castle in Lomnice. The Czech Republic will be represented by the  winner of international  big band competition, "Big Side Big Band" Prague, the Republic of Poland by a jazz group "Inner spaces", and  the Republic of Hungary and the Slovak republic by "Cimbálovka Josefa Heráka".
